WHAT IS Y.A.M.?

​In October of 2018, 12 year old Jane Kelly had an idea. What if Mitchell, South Dakota had an all-inclusive acting group for kids? An acting group where anyone who wanted could come and help put on a performance. But not just any old kids play- these kids would put on a serious production. The sort of thing that would actually help them grow as real actors. So, Jane started to work. After a little while, the group was up-and-running, and it’s the group you see before you today. Youth Actors of Mitchell is an (as you may be able to tell from the name) adolescent theater group aimed at ages 10 - 15, but 

that is, of course, only a guideline. We’d love for you to join us in our mission to provide more theatrical opportunities for drama loving kids in Mitchell. We greatly appreciate any donations or just support! Every little bit counts.
